Each sorority at Western has what is known as the Big/Little program. When a woman becomes a new member, they are assigned a "Big Sister", who helps the New Member to meet new people, get acquainted with the sorority and other Greek organizations, and navigate the University system to excel academically.
Sisterhood Retreats/Quality Time
Most sororities have a Sisterhood Chair to plan a retreat which can consist of day trips or bonding activities at the sorority house. Sisterhood does not only involve doing planned activities, but is also about spending quality time with members within your Chapter. Going for coffee, grabbing lunch, or even studying together is what allows our Sisterhood with each other to grow. This is one of the best parts of being in a sorority, there is always someone there for you to be with whether happy, sad, lonely, or overwhelmed.
